Care from someone who's been on both sides of the treatment table

I'm Grace Buchan, a qualified sports podiatrist and the director of GB Podiatry & Sports. Since completing my Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Podiatry at La Trobe University in 2017, I've worked across private practices while competing in elite sport, so I know injury, rehab and the road back to performance from personal experience, not just the textbook.

  • Bachelor of Health Science & Masters of Podiatry, La Trobe University
  • Special focus on knee, lower leg, foot and ankle injuries
  • Strength, rehabilitation and return-to-sport programming
  • Care for all ages, from kids to seniors, walkers to athletes

My sporting background

I played seven years of VFLW football with Collingwood and St Kilda, captaining Collingwood to its first VFLW premiership in 2019. Before football, I competed in soccer and tennis, and I finished the Berlin Marathon in 2017, so I understand the demands different sports place on the body and mind at every level.

Since moving to the Riverina, I've played with GWS in the VFLW and their Riverina academies, and I now play for the Griffith Swans in the local Women's AFL league. Supporting Griffith's community sporting clubs and their programs is a big part of why I started this clinic.

How I work

My aim is personalised podiatry care for all ages and activity levels. That means long first appointments, a clear diagnosis explained in plain language, and a written treatment plan so you always know what we're doing and why. Whether your goal is a premiership, a parkrun or simply walking without pain, we'll build the plan around it.
